Swap a Failing Shower for One That Lasts

Most showers we replace have the same story: an aging fiberglass insert, a tile wall with crumbling grout or a pan that has started to crack. Patching those problems buys a few months. Replacing the shower fixes the cause and gives you a cleaner, brighter space to start each day.

Need shower replacement in Tampa without the patch-and-pray approach? We remove the old walls and base, inspect the framing and subfloor for water damage, replace the valve and drain parts that are past their prime, then install a new pan, porcelain panels, trim and glass. Our own installers do all of it, you get the full cost written out when we first meet, and monthly payments can make the project easier to fit in.

Why Tampa Homeowners Call Us to Replace Their Showers

Pulling out an old shower often uncovers surprises, like rotted backing board or a corroded valve. We plan for that, explain what we find in plain language and fix it before the new walls go up.

01

Leaks Fixed at the Source

We open up the wall and floor, find where water has been getting in and correct it rather than caulking over it.

03

Back in Use Quickly

Most replacements run about two days, which means a short stretch without your main shower.

02

Walls That Stay Clean

Big porcelain slabs replace hundreds of grout joints, which leaves mildew very little to cling to.

04

Lifetime Coverage

Each new shower we put in carries a lifetime warranty, and our office stays easy to reach after the job.

How We Replace Your Shower

A predictable four-step process, so you know what happens on each day.

1

Inspect the old shower

We look at the walls, pan, valve and drain, note any signs of leaks or soft spots, and measure for the new layout.

2

Pick finishes, get a price

Choose your porcelain look, base, trim color and glass style, then review a written estimate and a start date before we go.

3

Tear out and repair

The old stall comes out, damaged backing or subfloor is replaced, and the valve and drain are updated for the new shower.

4

Build, seal and hand over

The new pan, panels, glass and fixtures go in, every joint is sealed and tested, and we show you how to care for it.

Full Replacement vs Liner Overlay vs Reglazing

When an old shower starts to fail, there are three common fixes. They differ a lot in what they actually solve, so it helps to see them side by side.

Is It Time to Replace Your Shower?

Replacement is usually the right call if:

Only a dripping handle? If the walls and pan are sound, a valve or trim repair may be enough. We will check it and give you a straight answer before suggesting a full replacement.

How quickly can an old shower be replaced?

Most of our shower replacements are finished in about 48 hours. Rotted framing, moving the drain or waiting on made-to-measure glass can stretch that by a day or so, and you hear about it before demo starts.

Cost comes down to shower size, wall finish, base, glass and how much repair hides behind the old walls. After measuring during a no-charge visit, we hand you an itemized figure on the spot, and financing is offered.

Yes. Most of our replacements stay inside the existing shower area, so your vanity, toilet and flooring outside the shower are left alone. Drop cloths and covers keep everything else in the bathroom clean while we work.

A patch on a cracked fiberglass or acrylic pan rarely holds for long, and water can reach the subfloor through the crack. In most cases a new pan is the safer fix, and we check for damage underneath when the old one comes out.

Yes, that swap is a big part of what we do. The one-piece fiberglass unit is cut out, and the space gets a new base, porcelain wall panels and glass in its place.

We usually recommend it. An older valve can drip or struggle to hold temperature, and with the wall opened up anyway, it is the right time to update it along with new trim.

Often, yes. Depending on the walls and plumbing around it, we can widen the opening, lower the entry or switch to a larger base. We look at what is possible during the visit.

Yes. We replace showers in Lutz, Wesley Chapel and other nearby Tampa Bay communities as well as Tampa. Give us a call to confirm your address.
